Calendula Powder
Calendula officinalis—also known as the “Pot Marigold”— is a plant within the family Asteraceae.
Calendula is best known for its medicinal uses. It is widely used as a medicinal plant whose antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties make it a strong ingredient for healing.
A strong in effect, but gentle on the skin, Calendula has can be used to relieve many types of skin conditions that may cause dry, itchy, or irritated areas. It soothes skin experiences symptoms of eczema, dermatitis, and dandruff. By promoting the production of collagen, an essential protein for glowing skin, Calendula aids in sustaining soothed, hydrated skin.
Tapioca Powder (Starch)
Extracted from the the edible sweet tuberous root of the cassava plant which is also known as Brazilian arrowroot, or yucca.
Tapioca starch helps absorb sweat while respecting the natural perspiration of the body. It makes the skin so soft to touch when used as a dusting powder.
Marshmallow Root Powder
Comes from the Althaea plant native to Northern Africa, Europe, and Western Asia.
The mucilage, a thick, gummy substance from the plant's roots, is extracted and used for medicinal purposes. The root extract contains a number of ingredients that promote skin health, such as polysaccharides and flavonoids. It provide anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial benefits to help soothe irritation as it hydrates skin.
