Organic Shea Butter

A rich ivory coloured butter extracted from the nuts of the shea tree. Our organic shea butter is sourced from women's cooperatives in Ghana, which produces shea nuts with the most desirable balance of fatty acids for skin, and where the traditional processing results in a pure, clean butter.

Although it sounds a bit like reading a science dictionary, it's the unique combination of oleic, stearic, linoleic, palmitic, and arachidic fatty acids that make shea butter such a luxurious treat for dehydrated, sensitive, irritated or stressed skin.

Shea butter creates a protective layer on the skin to help prevent moisture loss and promote elasticity. The butter also has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory skin healing properties.

_{Tamanu Oil}

Traditionally used for centuries in the Pacific Islands for its skin healing properties. More recently, tamanu oil has been researched for its ability to help improve the appearance of scar tissue.  Tamanu oil contains a unique fatty acid, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory ingredients. But it's tamanu oil's ability to encourage the regeneration of new skin tissue that we find most impressive — an effect called cicatrisation, which helps explain the oil's anti-ageing benefits.

Tamanu oil penetrates all three layers of your skin, helping to deliver the benefits of the oil and of other skincare ingredients.

As tamanu oil is extracted from a nut, this oil may not be suitable if you have a nut allergy.

Extracted from fresh white coconut flesh with no chemicals used during the production process. How to use

In cold weather, Nourishing Night & Day will be solid and easiest to remove from the jar using the supplied spatula.

In warmer weather, the oils may become liquid. This doesn't affect the quality of the product.

To use as a night cream

Apply before bed, after a shower, or following MSM Nourishing Exfoliant.

Take a pearl-sized amount of Nourishing Night & Day and warm between your fingertips. Apply by massaging gently into your face and neck using an upward and outward motion.

To use as a daytime moisturiser

You don't need to limit this little beauty to night time use. Nourishing Night & Day also makes the ideal daytime moisturiser for mature or dehydrated skin. Warm between your fingertips and apply in the same way as at night.

To use on minor rashes and insect bites

Apply to the affected area as often as need to help reduce irritation.
